A Healthcare worker in New York City is being tested for Ebola at Bellevue Hospital. This person treated Ebola patients in West Africa. This begs the question, why wasn’t this individual quarantined for 21 days before getting back to New York City? Isn’t that what you are supposed to do with people who have come into contact with those who have Ebola? This person is a male, in his 30s. Before being taken to Bellevue Hospital, the person had Ebola like symptoms such as a fever and abdominal pain and recently returned from west Africa.
