Yet again, the media is trying to portary Thomas Eric Duncan as a ‘gentle giant’ and such a caring and compassionate indiviudal. This despite hoping on a plane from LIberia, knowning he had Ebola, put those people on the plane at risk, and now infected at least two nurses in Texas before he died. The nurses who became infected handling Thomas Eric Duncan have had their lives changed forever, no matter what happens with their ebola treat. So what does Associated Press do? according to Associated Press, Thomas Duncan was this ‘big-hearted, compassionate man’.

So how compassionate was Duncan when he hoped about a plane putting hundreds at risk to get free medical care in Dallas?
Duncan may in fact have been a big hearted compassionate man in Liberia, but putting hundreds of people at risk of getting his disease is also a very selfish act.
