Seems the New York DMV stands in solidarity with a Muslim terrorist group Hamas (or Hammas). They issued a license plate to some idiot in New York, then were forced to send a revocation notice after backlash over the license plate grew. Of course, under Andrew Cuomo, standing in solidarity with Hamas isn’t a big shock. The car with the license plate Hammas is in Brooklyn and is a black dodge. What’s next New Yorkers? The Department of Motor Vehicles in New York announced it would revoke a license plate reading “Hammas” that was spotted in Brooklyn, NY1 News reported on Wednesday.
Although the name is a misspelling of Hamas, a Palestinian flag being used as a windshield cover suggests the intention is Hamas, the Palestinian militant group.
“We are pulling this plate off the road as patently offensive,” Jackie McGinnis of the state Department of Motor Vehicles said in a statement. “The group represented by the name on the plate is also on the list of entities designated by the U.S. Government as a terrorist organization.”
