James Brady, Ronald Reagan’s Press Secretary who was shot during John Hinckley, Jr.’s March 30, 1981, assassination attempt on Ronald Reagan has died at age 73. Brady become an anti-gun advocate after being permanently disabled by Hinckley’s shots. The press briefing room that has become a joke under the Obama regime with the likes of Robert Gibbs, Jay Carney, and Josh Earnest is called the James Brady briefing room. While he was an anti-gun crusader, I still had major respect for Jim Brady. I mean, I really couldn’t blame him for being anti-gun after being permanently disabled by a deranged, left wing terrorist John Hinckley. Unlike other anti-gun crusaders out there, Jim Brady still showed class.

What is the media focusing on with Brady’s death? Not his time as Reagan’s press secretary, or having the briefing room named after him, but instead his anti-gun crusades.

Even slimy David Axelrod skips over Brady’s time ass Press Secretary to tout his gun-control advocacy.
Sad to hear about Jim Brady's death. He was kind to me when I was a young reporter, and later became an inspiring voice for sane gun laws.

RIP Mr. Brady. We may not have agreed on everything politically, but you were still a great man.
