Leonard Blavatnik likes establishment Reoublican RINOs like Weeper Boehner, but he’s also a big fan of far left Marxist Democrats too. It must be the pro Putin thing. Blavatnik and his wife have donated to the DCCC, Al Franken, Jeanne Shaheen and Cory T-Boned Booker. The Daily Caller has the story on Leonard Blavatnik but doesn’t do him any justice by titling their article ‘Pro-Putin Russian oligarch dumps money into establishment GOP candidates campaign coffers.’ You’d think this was written by someone at NBC or Politico or something. This should clear up anyone’s question as to why Obama and the Congress critters are too scared to slap meaningful sanctions on Russia.

Blavatnik and his wife have each donated $32,400 to the Democratic Congressional Committee. They also supported Ohio Republican Rep. John Boehner ($5,200), New Hampshire Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen ($2,600), Maine Republican Sen. Susan Collins ($2,600), Minnesota Democatic Sen. Al Franken ($5,000) and others.
Every single donation lists Blavatnik’s occupation as chairman and director of Access Industries, an international industrial company which he founded in 1987. His company has contributed $1,426,391 million to candidates since 1996 and spent more than $720,000 on lobbying since 2011, according to OpenSecrets.org.
