Geoffrey Thomas, Australian Aviation editor claimed earlier that there were multiple returns on the radar looking for MH370 and that they were looking for a debris field:

However, the US Navy says P-8 Poseidon aircraft completed 10-hour search mission over Indian Ocean and found nothing:

So it’s starting to seek like the debris found on the AUstliran radar will end up being nothing, much like the China radar images that got people’s hopes up.
