Clay Aiken announced he is running for Congress in North Carolina’s second district against incumbent Renee Ellmers. Aiken, who is gay is running in a district that’s rated Republican +11, and re-elected Elmers by a margin of 56-41% in 2012. Aiken has about as much chance of winning Elmer’s seat as Elmers would have at winning Nancy Pelosi’s seat. That being said, Aiken is still ‘hard at work’ deleting some of his nastier tweets in hopes people will never see them and exactly what type of person he is.
