Somalis in Minnesota started the new year off with a ‘bang’ when a building with a mosque, halal market, and 10 apartments exploded. The media has suddnely gone silent on this story for some reason. Now, another apartment building in The Preserve at Commerce has had multiple explosions in Rogers, Minnesota. The Preserve at Commerce has a 192-unit complex.
Fox News/AP:
A series of explosions forced the evacuation of hundreds of residents of an apartment complex in the northwest suburbs of Minneapolis on Sunday.
The explosions happened around 8:45 a.m. at The Preserve at Commerce, a 192-unit complex in Rogers, Minn.
Rogers Fire Chief Brad Feist said there were no injuries, but Police Chief Jeff Beahen said about 10 units were heavily damaged.
According to the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office, the first explosion happened in a large propane backup generator pavilion on the northeast corner of the property. Police and firefighters arrived to find flames and smoke coming from the generator. Gas continued to leak from the generator, causing several smaller explosions after the initial blast.
Amazingly, no one was hurt.
