It’s kind of cute when Saturday Night Live tries to be funny again. Tonight Saturday Night Live ‘cold open’ mocked Obama ‘selfie’ with Denmark Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt. The SNL cold open also mocked the fake sign language guy at the Mandela funeral who actually could have been very dangerous. They even mentioned Obama’s handshake with Raul Castro. They used a parody of German Chancellor Angela Merkel for the selfie.

I’ll give SNL credit for being funny in this one. It’s been awhile. I guess they feel it’s finally safe to parody Obama now that he’s been proven an epic failure, even to the Manhattan cocktail circuit liberals.
