Hunter and Mikayla Alford of Gainsville Texas were born with extremely rare types of cancer called Plexiform Histiocytic Neoplasm and Plexiform Fibrohistiocytic Neoplasm. Their parent’s health insurance provided the coverage needed for Hunter Alford’s chemotherapy. Now, their health care has been cancelled because of ObamaCARE. With Hunter Alford’s next round of chemotherapy coming up, it will cost the Alford family $50,000 for treatment, which they obviously can’t afford. Now Hunter is likely to miss his next session. And as if losing their health care coverage to keep their children alive wasn’t bad enough, check out what the mother Krista Alford was told as she desperately tried to find an insurance plan:

Krista says an insurance agent told her that Hunter’s information got lost when they made changes under the new Affordable Care Act.
Now, Krista is on a mission to re-gain that insurance, but they’re running out of time before his next chemo treatment, and the agent says they can’t expedite.
“The lady’s like, the only way we can expedite is if your son was pregnant and in labor, or if he was an illegal,” Krista said.
Isn’t that nice? Thanks to ObamaCARE, the only people who get ‘expedited’ coverage are those in labor or not even citizens of this country. Cancer patients? Whatever as Kathleen Sebelius would say.
It’s stories like this that should be getting coverage instead of the stupid website site ‘glitches.’ Yet, if you do a Google News search, you will find just the one KTII article about the story, with no other media coverage. This is downright disgusting.
