ESPN’s Kevin Blackistone is a far left hack. He even compared Herman Cain to southern segregationists. Kevin Blackinstone is such a radical progressive liberal, that he doesn’t even like our national anthem. In his eyes, the Spangled Banner is nothing more than a ‘war anthem’ on Around the Horn.

Blackistone is so offended, that the ‘war anthem’ Star Spangled Banner shouldn’t be played before sporting events. ESPN is owned by ABC, so that explains why Blackistone is employed there, and will never be fired.
Reali: Hey, KB, your alma mater, Northwestern University. The helmets and jerseys for next week’s game against Michigan, courtesy of Under Armour. Designed to honor America and Wounded Warriors. Under scrutiny for the design, which some think uses a blood splatter effect as well as claims of flag desecration. The school says anyone seeing that is misinterpreting. “Buy or sell” the uniform, Adande?
Adande: If it makes people uncomfortable, thoughts of war should make people uncomfortable. There’s nothing comforting about war. And utilizing the flag in the uniform, we’ve seen that in baseball caps, we’ve seen that in other uniforms, so that’s nothing new. It actually bothers me that nothing says Northwestern on the helmet.
Reali: Blackistone?
Blackistone: I’m going to sell it for the same reasons. If you sell this along with me, you should also be selling the rest of the military symbolism embrace of sports. Whether it’s the singing of a war anthem to open every game. Whether it’s going to get a hotdog and being able to sign up for the Army at the same time. Whether it’s the NFL’s embrace of the mythology of the Pat Tillman story. It has been going on in sports since the first National Anthem was played in the World Series back in 1917. And it’s time for people to back away.
Reali: There is a difference between calling a football game a “battle,” right, and singing the National Anthem before a game.
Blackistone: You are conflating a war anthem with a simple game. When you have military flyovers and the military symbolism that goes on in sports, I think you’ve got a problem.
Reali: In this case you would not wear the uniforms.
Blackistone: Absolutely not.
