So we’ve gone from oversampling Democrats by about 7 points to 11 points in the latest NBC to now 19 points in the latest PEW Poll to try and show Obama is invincible this year. Yes, the latest Pew Poll gives Obama a 51% to 41% advantage over Romney. Sounds like bad news right? Well it isn’t. If the so called polling outfit are getting so desperate that they have to oversample Democrats by 19, this is just more proof that Obama is in deep trouble for November. The pathetic sample size in this poll is 43% Democrat, 24% Republican and 32% Independent. In 2008, which was a Democrat wave election, 7% more Democrats voted than Republicans. In 2010 during the Republican landslide, Democrats and Republicans came out in equal sizes. This year, the best case scenario for Obama would be a D+2 or D+3 advantage. Even with this pathetic oversampling, Obama only has a 4% lead in the so called ‘battle ground states.’ If this is all Obama can manage with a 19 point sampling advantage, it just proofs what I said yesterday. Obama is in deep trouble in the battleground states, and the Gallup approval ratings show it.
So what’s next? A D+25 poll showing Obama leading by 5 points?
