Oh, the Friday afternoon news dump. Last week it was announced that Eric Holder appointed two U.S. Attorneys to investigate the intelligence leaks that Democrat Pat Caddell says have been coming from Obama’s National Security Advisor Tom Donilon. Of course just because Caddell says it, doesn’t mean Donilon is the leaker, but it makes for an interesting discussion. The purpose of the leaks are obviously the make Obama look like some terrorist killing stud and try and boost his chances at reelection. But one of the two attorneys appointed by Holder last week has an interesting connection to Obama. It seems that Ronald Machen (one of the attorneys appointed) has donated $4,350 to Obama’s various campaigns over the years. Think there might be a bit of a conflict of interest here? Ronald Manchen also happens to be the Obama appointed U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia. Of course the CNN article mentioning the two appointed attorneys makes no mention of Manchen’s previous donations to Obama.
