Looks like the south just said Kiss my Grits to Willard Mitt Romney. Rick Santorum sweeps both southern states. After winning Alabama earlier, Rick Santorum has won Mississippi as well. Polls showed that Mittens might actually win this state, but I guess not. So much for the weak front runner. There’s still Hawaii and America Samoa to come later tonight, which will probably come out when i’m snoring. Newt Gingrich will finish second, and Romney will end up third in both Alabama and Mississippi.
As far as delegates go from these two states, they are distributed proportionally. Santorum, Gingrich, and Mittens were all in the low 30’s, so delegate splits will be fairly equal.
