Today is the Kansas caucuses. But U.S. territories Guam, the Virgin Islands and the Northern Mariana Islands are also having caucuses. Guam has already gone to Mittens, giving him nine delegates. The other territories that have caucuses today also have nine caucuses each. I have no idea who’s supposed to win there. The big prize of course is Kansas with forty delegates. I haven’t seen any polls on this state, but based on past results in the mid-west this may be Rick Santorum country.
The delegates from these three territories are non-binding. The Puerto Rico Republican primary will take place on March 18, and has 23 delegates in a winner take all primary.
