Ouch! According to the latest Super Tuesday Rasmussen poll of the Ohio GOP primary poll, Mitt Romney is severely trailing Rick Santorum, by 18 points! A recent Quinnipiac poll showed Santorum beating Romney by 7 points in Ohio. Either this poll is an outlier, or Super Tuesday could be a bloodbath.
The new statewide telephone survey of Likely Republican Primary voters shows Santorum picking up 42% of the vote to Romney’s 24%. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich draws 13% support, while Texas Congressman Ron Paul picks up 10%.
